Wheel Of Wonders… The Color Wheel! If you’ve never played with (learned how to use!) the color wheel, grab a book on the subject and find a whole new way of looking at fabric combinations. There are lots of quilter-oriented books on the subject.

Quilters Alphabet 44: Viney Vase of Violets
This is a pretty little block with lots of the traditional elements of Applique… Vines, Vases and Violets! I can’t believe I had such trouble coming up with this block. Once it came together, I fell in love and could not picture a more fitting quilter’s depiction of the letter V.

*** I just don’t know what’s wrong with me! Errors on the last two mystery clues and now I have misplaced my QuiltDaze folder! Must be the Summer Doldrums! But anyone in my Friday class who signed up to display a quilt or quilt sit in our room, please let me know via email what or when. We will be setting up Friday night from 5 to 7 at the YL Community Center so you can drop off your quilt then. Thanks for all your help !*** Now Back To Pretty Pinwheels….
