I want to thank you all for continuing on through my errors on this mystery.  I guess I have Summer-itis and have been distracted by the beautiful weather and multiple enjoyable distractions!  But I have carefully prepared the next clue and am ready to present it here. 

That’s A Wrap!

That’s the phrase used when the filming is complete!  Of course, the film is far from complete!  There is still editing, CGI, Titles, Marketing… the list goes on!  So I’m calling “That’s A Wrap!” on the first set of blocks for our Sunset and Vine quilt.

You know that Kevin Bacon game where you try to link stars by their costars in movies?  It’s said you can almost always do that with seven degrees of separation (or less).  That is what the chain in this block reminds me of.  (OK I know there are only six patches in the chain, but you get the idea.) So here it is…

You’ll have to come back next week to see what the other blocks will look like…

Quilt Daze IX, “California Treasures,” is a Quilt Show presented by Yorba Linda Historical Society & Yorba Linda Women’s Club at the Yorba Linda Community Center, 4501 Casa Loma, Yorba Linda, CA. 10am to 4pm both days. Admission $7 quilts, opportunity baskets, refreshments. Our Class will have a whole room to display so be sure to drop by and say hello!
