Here are three methods for making Flying Geese Blocks for the Spring Medallion Quilt: No Scrap, Snowball and 3-D One Seam.  Wow!  Choose your favorite or try them all!

This first pieced border of the Spring Medallion Quilt requires 48 Geese blocks to be 2 1/2″ by 4 1/2″ unfinished.  There are lots of ways to make Flying Geese and three are presented here.  These blocks will be 2 1/2″ X 4 1/2″  unfinished and are a wonderful beginning to the borders for this medallion quilt.
