Something Special
I’m working on something very special this week. And it’s going to be spectacular!
Can you tell what I’m doing?
It is my Baltimore Comes To California pattern (now available in my Craftsy Pattern Store if you wanna take a peek at the finished pattern.)
These blocks have been made by members of the Orange County Quilters Guild. This will be the guild’s Opportunity Quilt with the drawing to be held at the Guild’s 2014 quilt show:
Friday and Saturday: April 25 – 26, 2014 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM; Special Preview Evening – Thursday, April 24, 2014

I’m putting the top together, obviously. And believe you me, these blocks are gorgeous! Some are beautifully hand appliquéd and others are masterfully machine appliqued, but they are all fabulous. We had a lot of talented quilters volunteer to make these lovely blocks (and the sashings and borders!). They did a terrific job and I thank each of them.
I’m hoping the quilt top will be ready to display at Camp Watch-A-Patcher starting July 7. Yeow! That’s just a week away! So I gotta get back to work!
