Repeat Revolution Week 1: Prep
Quilting Classes start up next week here in North Orange County, California. And we are starting off the new year with the Repeat Revolution quilt.
The Repeat Revolution Supply List was posted a few weeks ago. The remarkable aspect about this technique is it yields blocks that look so different but are all made from the same fabric!
This week we are prepping the fabric. That means double checking to be sure there are at least 6 linear repeats of 15″ or more. then we will set aside some fabric for the border and cut our repeat panels. All the instructions are in the Repeat Revolution PDF at the end of this post.
In addition to the items on the supply list, you will also need flat or flower head pins and spray starch or sizing. Join us on this adventure! You’ll never look at fabric the same way again!
All the info you need to prep your fabric is on the PDF available at the end of this post.
As always, you are invited to look around this site for LOTS of other dynamite gift ideas (Get an early start on this year’s (2013!) Holidays) and other free patterns.
