Oh my! What a weekend! Thank you so much to all who helped out this weekend for our class display at Quilt Daze!

My mom used to say “Many hands make light the work.” And was that ever true this past weekend! We had a great crew for set up and everyone worked together to display a whole lot of quilts in our space! Wow, it looked fabulous!

And then all of our workers showed up to keep an eye on things. It was grand to see so many friends, students and fellow quilters! There really was a fabulous turn out!
I’m always amazed at how quickly a display comes down. Helpers came out of the woodwork to take down and fold the quilts. Even our Intrepid Quilt Collector Ray was there to lend a hand.

I want to thank all of you who came out to hang, watch, take down and/or display a quilt (Or just came to see the show!). Without each of you, this wonderful display would not have been possible!
And many, many thanks to the Yorba Linda Historical Society and the Yorba Linda Woman’s Club for organizing a terrific show! The YL Community Center is a perfect venue and these groups work very hard to put on a great show. See you in two more years!

Sorry I missed it, Lyn. I was in Ohio visiting my children and grandchildren. My oldest just started 7th grade and my little one is in first. Enjoy the time with your grandson. They grow so quickly.
