Our Friendship Group had our annual mountain retreat this month. I was fiddling with the design of a quilt for my grandson. My friend Cathy O’Brien looked over my shoulder, asked me a few questions and made some design suggestions… And this O’Brien Sunrise quilt was born!
The Lone Star is an iconic patchwork motif. But this has always been a difficult quilt to make due to “required” set-in seams. But those set-in seams are NOT required!
