Nautical Tumble Sampler Quilt Week Two – The Tiffany Anchor
Have you made the first block for this quilt? The 36 Patch is fun to make and a great starter. But this Nautical Tumble project is not ALL about piecing. There is great Appliqué too! Our second week features the Tiffany Anchor.
This anchor features clean crisp lines as in the charm available from Tiffany’s in New York City. The appliqué is easy, especially if you use my simple Fusible and Machine Applique Method (PDF).
Of course if you are a hand applique-er, this block will be easy as well. Just one, large, graphic piece! FUN!
And we will have two setting options for these blocks…Straight blocks or Tumbler shapes.
The PDF for the anchor is toward the end of this post.
Here’s a preview of future blocks…
