My Extended Vacation

This summer has gone by in a whirlwind of crisis and joy.  With our adorable new grandson, I feel the need to have a little time to enjoy him! So… I am taking a sabbatical from teaching for the Fall semester.   I know all my NOCCCD students will understand and applaud this decision to take the Fall semester off.  Now this only means, we will not be having classes, but I will continue my blog posts, completing the projects we’ve started and… starting a few new ones!.

Christmas Goose

The Do You See…? Block Of The Week will continue each Thursday and I will again be posting the supply list for our Nostalgic 9 In 9 Quilt project for the fall this Saturday and then the regular weekly instructions will begin on Saturday, September 6.

And then there are still quite a few slide shows from our Mega Sharing done in class the last week of June.  I’ve been understandably distracted from them recently, but I hope to continue posting these shows starting soon.

And I still have a few more surprises up my sleeve so stay tuned!  I may even have another mystery for you to solve!

Once again, I will not be teaching this Fall in North Orange County, but the patterns and quilt ideas will continue here at LynBrown.com.

And of course my patterns will continue to be available on Craftsy… With new patterns coming soon!

Enjoy your baby as much as you can, they only stay little for a short time and it’s wonderful to have the time to be able to bond with him. It’s great being a grandparent

Will we still be able to use the room on Mondays at the Cypress Senior Center? Do you have to request it or someone that has been going on Monday authorized?

    Enjoy Elliot!!
