Are you CRAZY for PLAIDS? That is what we are swapping in the quilting class of North Orange County this week! Pretty Plaids! And OH! what a pattern I am offering to make from all these Pretty Plaids (or Stash Fabrics)(OR a Layer Cake)…

And our quilt pattern for the 10″ square swap is called Friendship Ladders.
This block is all pieced and fun to make. And with 40 different plaids, the blocks will certainly be scrappy. (The block above is depicted in semi-solids for ease of understanding where the seam lines are!) Of course there is no reason you can’t make this pattern out of your stash! Little scraps or big scraps… This pattern will use up a ton of fabrics!
So you don’t have to swap to make the quilt. But swapping with fellow quilters is ALWAYS fun and broadens our fabric horizons! Set up your own swap with your quilt group. Check out my swap suggestion sheet. And my Swap Pattern Pack is available at my Craftsy Store.

Lyn, I’m having so much fun making this quilt! It’s a great opportunity to use the men’s shirts I’ve collected.
I have just discovered your site Lyn and love the patterns you design.
I will return to your site when i have more time to view. Can’t wait.

Lyn, this quilt is spectacular! It’s the perfect size for a quilt for a wounded soldier, I’m going to show this to my guild!
