Mickey Rooney (born Joseph Yule Jr.) passed away this week at the age of 93. So this block name has a double meaning… To honor the legendary actor and to celebrate the Christmas season.
Mickey performed in Hollywood for eight decades. He danced, sang and acted at the top of his profession. May this pinwheel spin in your quilt for a similar length of time. It’s a simple block to stitch, just 16 Half Square Triangles. But watch their orientation! Get one out of place or turned round… and you’ll be making a new design! Have fun!

when I printed the instructions for the Thursday April 10th Christmas
block, it printed mostly the number 6 and some random letters. Can you help? thanks Irene
