Happy Mother’s Day
Wishing everyone a lovely day. Looks like it’s going to be gorgeous here in North Orange County.
Looking forward to seeing all my class members this week (I’m feeling better). We are gonna do something a little different this week and we will return to the Spring Medallion next week… -

Jelly Roll Race (1600) Quilt
Here are two beautiful Jelly Roll Race quilts, each with one added element. The top one has rectangles (2 1/2″ X 3 1/2″ to 6 1/2″) added to each strip of the Jelly Roll before starting and the one below has squares (2 1/2″). The Jelly Roll Race or Jelly Roll 1600 quilt is easy to make and is wonderful for charity or use-em-up quilts.

Rockin Roll Jelly Roll Complete Quilt
We began 2012 with this easy Rail Fence Variation quilt that can be made easily and with a Jelly Roll or Bali Pop.
The contrasting rail adds an extra design element and using the precut strips eliminates a lot of work. This is a perfect pattern for a novice quilter. -
