This is just FUN!
We had a roaring good time when we raced up to Ventura for our quilting retreat. I saw this antique quilt in a vignette at Roxanne’s Quilt Shop in Carpinteria and thought what a cute doll quilt it would make.

This is a variation of my City Blocks Quilt presented yesterday. It has been kicked up a notch with Sashing between all the patches, making it look completely different.

OOPS! I forgot to post the pattern earlier. I have added it now!
Here’s a fun little quilt (well, 48″ x 64″) that is quick and easy to make. My sample is made from terrific New York City fabric from CityQuilter.com. Check out that Bagel fabric!

Here is our 12th Block of the week in the 2012 Quilter’s Alphabet Series. How could a quilter think of the letter F and not think about the sweet Fan Block or of that wonderful quilter’s aid… Paper Backed Fusing!

Two Yards, Two Fabrics, Two Hours, Too Fun!
This BIG tote is easy and fun to make. And it’ll hold two Quilts… At least!

This week, I’m off to a quilting retreat so classes are not meeting. But this blog continues with our Spring Medallion Quilt, the Quilter’s Alphabet and a few other surprises!

Here is a very traditional doll quilt. This quilt can be made in a variety of looks: Reproduction, scrappy or two color. And these instruction show you how to make it easily. (more…)

Here is a fabulous and simple gift idea. A set of beautiful and useful coasters that are quite enjoyable to make.

These Doll Quilts are really getting to me. I’m nearly done with my Time Flies Quilt and have started on the Arroyo 4-Patch (above) and I am hoping to whip a RockABye up soon!

This post offers links to the first 8 PDFs for our Quilter’s Alphabet Blocks. We are honoring our quilting traditions and focusing on the state of quiltmaking today with this ABC Block Of The Week Quilt. This is a FUN quilt! I’ve started mine – Have you started yours?
