It’s been a year in the making! We are finally ready to set the Fanciful Floral FourSquare blocks into a quilt. I am suggesting a traditional Three Part Sashing which will make a beautiful quilt!
Goodness! 2013 is going fast! Last month, I did the Cornucopia block in just two parts. To top that, I thought I would finish up the blocks with a single part Poinsettia Star Tree for our December block.
Notice I say Part One not Quadrant One. As we approach the Holidays, I know busy-ness sets in. I don’t want to lose momentum on this beautiful quilt so let’s get it done!
We are finishing up the Spooky October Block this week. I had a hard time with this design, but it has turned out to be one of my favorite blocks of the whole quilt. Glad it didn’t frighten you off!
Back to Class… Again! This week talking about Machine Quilting. The Arrowhead Retreat was wonderful and now it is a (nearly) straight shot to the Holidays! As always, the ShowNTell at the Cypress class was inspiring…
Fall is upon us. Here in SoCal that means both days of dry high winds and days of Autumn rain. We’ve had both this week. Sew… We are ready for Halloween to arrive.
Fall has fallen. Days are slowly getting shorter and the leaves are starting to turn. Soon Halloween will arrive. These are the things this block celebrates!
