This is just FUN!
We had a roaring good time when we raced up to Ventura for our quilting retreat. I saw this antique quilt in a vignette at Roxanne’s Quilt Shop in Carpinteria and thought what a cute doll quilt it would make.

The Postage Stamp quilt has a long tradition in quiltmaking going back well into the 1800s. Then, every scrap counted and nothing was wasted. That concept still applies for quilters today. So dig through your scrap bag and/or swap some with friends to create your own bit of history. (more…)

These Doll Quilts are really getting to me. I’m nearly done with my Time Flies Quilt and have started on the Arroyo 4-Patch (above) and I am hoping to whip a RockABye up soon!
