Nautical Tumble Block 25 – Tall Ship S.S. Quilter
Oh! This has been fun! These blocks have sure been an adventure. Thanks for sailing along with us as we have tumbled through these Nautical blocks. And though this is our 25th and final block, the Tumbler Trimming instructions will go up tomorrow (FINALLY!) and the setting instructions for this beautiful quilt will be up next Saturday! Nautical Tumble Sampler Quilt Block 21 – Shipping Lanes

This Log Cabin has a Fields and Furrows set where every other block is turned 180 degrees. The result looks like those Shipping Lanes found in certain areas of the open sea (to me!)

Nautical Tumble Sampler Quilt: Block 18 – Lyle Hess Cat Boat

Maybe that is what Lyle Hess, the Southern California Boat designer, had in mind when he designed this 16 foot beauty. I know a day like that is what I was thinking about as I made my block!
