Camp WatchAPatcher 2013 is now just a grand memory!
I taught four great classes filled with talented students… Here is a review…
Monday, we did a color class that was really fun! (Sorry, No Pattern Available)
Tuesday was my Framed or Early Spring Pattern (as on the cover of Quilt magazine F/M 2013), now available on Craftsy. Makes a great Modern Quilt!
Wednesday we did the Tall Ship Pilgrim and it was a new pattern for Camp. I will have it ready for Etsy and Craftsy in a few days.
Thursday we finished off with the Magic 9-Patch/Next Generation Quilt and here is the post with the link to the pattern for free!
And speaking of free…Don’t forget our 2013 Free Summer Mystery Quilt just started…Here is the 2013 Sew Spangled Mystery Supply List and the 2013 Sew Spangled Mystery Clue 1. Clue Two will be posted next Tuesday July 16.
The highlight of Camp week for me was the Student ShowNTell. Seeing the creative and varied projects of all the students was amazing! And when my students stepped up with all their projects I got all choked up. The color, the workmanship, the talent of these quilters just stunned me…
Thanks to all the talented quilters who took my classes and applied their creativity to my patterns. You did GREAT! See you in 2015!
And Many Thanks, Kudos and Appreciation to Pam Gayle, Sandy Milo and their staff of hard working volunteers for making Camp possible. From Meet The Teachers (That’s me above) to the Pajama Party (the frenzied California Snowball Fight pictured below) through to the Farewell Banquet, it was fabulous!
