Even though I am not going to teach this fall (Gonna spend some time with my new Grandson!) the quilt projects will continue to be posted here at LynBrown.com. This Fall’s “Big” Quilt will be the Nostalgic 9 In 9. This is such a sweet quilt. My sample is done in a rainbow of colors but you could make it in reproduction fabrics or autumn or (Pick your favorite) Holiday! The stitching is easy… but there is a lot of it. I will be presenting it in little bits each week…

Gosh! This is so much fun! Dissecting the Holidays and pulling out the best moments. And for a lot of us, thisparticular moment is imbued with excitement, anticipation and enjoyment… Bringing the tree home! This block is especially fun for me cause I based the car on our red Ford Escape! Way fun!

My Extended Vacation
This summer has gone by in a whirlwind of crisis and joy. With our adorable new grandson, I feel the need to have a little time to enjoy him! So… I am taking a sabbatical from teaching for the Fall semester. I know all my NOCCCD students will understand and applaud this decision to take the Fall semester off. Now this only means, we will not be having classes, but I will continue my blog posts, completing the projects we’ve started and… starting a few new ones!.
