The state’s geography ranges from the Ozark Mountains to the densely forested Arkansas Timberlands to the Mississippi River and the Arkansas Delta. Known as “the Natural State”, it’s diverse regions offer residents and tourists a variety of opportunities for outdoor recreation.

I have been hearing wonderful things about the International Quilt Study Center and Museum in Lincoln, Nebraska. I am hoping to visit there one day. But we are tremendously lucky to have a small collection of the IQSCM’s quilts exhibited here in Southern California, specifically at the Muzeo in downtown Anaheim.

2015 Block Of The Week: States Of Modern
I have set myself a challenge for 2015. And that is to explore the Modern Movement in Quiltmaking today. And I have determined an interesting way to do this… We are going to explore the states of the USA and interpret an aspect of each state in a modern quilt block.
