Wow! Oh! WOW! Annie’s Publishing’s New Book ” It Takes Three” is out and… Drumroll Please… My quilt, “Slightly Askew” is on the COVER! Wahoo!!!!

Stitched up in fabulous Hoffman California Batiks and quilted by the talented Jami Goto at Calico House, this quilt turned out beautifully! The theme of the book is quilts requiring three yards or less for the top and “Slightly Askew” fit in nicely. Check out the Annie’s site for more info.
It was very exciting when my shipment of It Takes Three Arrived!
And, of course, the first thing I did was find my quilt pattern in the book…
Yep, it was right there on Page 32! WOW! Great Quilting (By Jami Goto at Calico House… Thanks, Jami!), Great Fabrics by Hoffman California (Thanks, Michelle!), Great Photography (Thanks, Annie’s!) and thanks also to the bricklayers at the Mall of Orange (or whatever it is called now) for the inspiration! You can see I will have a supply of these books available at Quilt Daze at the Yorba Linda Community Center August 16 and 17. See You There!
************ SHOP **************
To celebrate our Summer 2014 Game On! Mystery, we put some of our previous Mystery Patterns on sale for JUST $2.99.
MYSTERY SALE!
We have had mysteries every summer for years now here at LynBrown.com. Some of those quilt patterns are now available (NOT as mysteries) for just $2.99 for a limited time on my Craftsy site…
Every Which Way is probably the simplest of all my mysteries, but it sure turns out beautifully! I have no doubt made this pattern more than any other… it turns out differently every time! The pattern includes instruction for both the Throw size and a Bed Size (Shown) and can be easily adapted for a baby quilt as well as other sizes! Check out Every Which Way while it is on sale!
Out Of This World features a complicated looking block made up of EASY PEASY parts. I think it looks like houses on tiny planets and that is how the pattern got it name!
Puddle Jumping is another popular former Mystery quilt…
Puddle Jumping is a fun redux of that classic Goose in the Pond block. Half Squares, Bars and 9-Patches are the simple units that make up this wonderful old block. WOW!
Please do check out my Craftsy Pattern Store where you can purchase immediate downloads of my patterns… and some free patterns too!

Congratulations, Lyn! It’s gorgeous and will certainly get lots of people to buy that book! I’m one of them. See you at Quilt Daze.
Unbelievably awesome, Judy! I’m one lucky lady. But I have to admit… Elliott trumps even making the cover!
