Don’t you just love a good mystery?
Whether its a classic old movie or a hot new quilt(!), it will lead you through twists and unexpected turns to a surprising conclusion!
Our 2013 mystery, Sew Spangled, will begin on this site on Tuesday, July 9. Then one clue will be revealed each week for 9 weeks. Round up the usual suspects… er… Supplies according to the 2013 Sew Spangled Mystery Supply List. Of course, I can’t show you a pic of the quilt because that would spoil the fun, but I can share a pic of our 2011 mystery called Out Of This World.
This pattern is the newest on my Craftsy and Etsy sites. And it’s available for immediate download.
I’m sure this is a vintage block from somewhere but to me it looks like four big houses on one little (square) planet. And those stars in the sashing complete the Out Of This World theme. Make a whole Galaxy with this fabulous quilt! It’s fun to travel the universe from your sewing machine!
Check it out on your favorite pattern site,
Craftsy
or
Etsy.
And check back here at LynBrown.com on July 9 for the first Sew Spangled Mystery Clue!

Debbie,
Please send me a pic of your quilt via email (through Contact Lyn above) so I can post it for everyone to see! Thanks!
I’m excited about the new mystery. Out of this world was my first true mystery quilt and I loved it. The only thing I changed is I extended or finished off the stars in the border. I LOVE it! and I was so scared that I wouldn’t like it when I started lol
