Summertime and the living is easy! So easy… that I forgot to do our July pillow!
So with apologies I offer this very simple design… One very cute whale. So appropriate for summer!
I love the gray whale sitting on the black and white fabric. It gives the pillow an antique feel. But I want to make a blue whale on ocean teal all in Hoffman batiks. So yummy!
This whale is the same size as the rest of our 2015 pillows. That way, you can make one muslin pillow and have covers for every season of the year. Or change it when ever the mood strikes you! Here’s the archive. I will try to get the August pillow pattern out soon. But for now here is the July Whale pillow pattern.
Whale Pillow – July
The NextGen Quilt is so easy to make! It looks very difficult with all those odd shapes but it is SIMPLE with no templates at all!
Irene made this NextGen with lots of green as background. Isn’t it spectacular?
