This week, we have another pieced block in our Free Christmas Block Of The Week Series, Do You See…? This is a fun block to make and easier than it looks! I’m calling it Goodness And Light after the last line of the song that provides the title of this block series.
There are triangles that are cut from squares in this block. I suggest starching the squares before cutting to tame the bias. As always using an accurate 1/4 inch seam will really help make the block come out correctly.

Thanks I got it. Peggy
I love this block! Your grandson will have a wonderful chair to sit in at Grandma’s house! Bob has just finished making a third little chair, smaller than the one you have, about 2/3 the size of yours. So cut! Wishing you well and missing you! Hugs, JoAnne
Thanks JoAnne and Marie for your nice comments. He is growing so fast already! I’m fortunate to be able to hang out with Elliott often!
I love my little chair, JoAnne! It sits right next to Elliott’s cradle with a quilted swan on it! Too Cute!
Hi Lyn…..Hope you are enjoying your time with your grandson…..I am sure he is growing and smiling and melting your heart……
We will miss you on Mondays but hope you will return for our next session…..
