Note: Diana just found an error in Block 26! Do NOT cut the 5 1/4″ Red Square on both diagonals. Leave it whole to make Flying Geese Four At Once! Thanks! Or if you’ve already cut those diagonals, cut the Gold 2 7/8″ squares on ONE diagonal and center the long side of the gold on a short sides of the red triangle to make a flying geese unit.
This week we add the Jolly Old Elf Himself to our Christmas Menagerie! Isn’t he adorable? The Big Man stands looking out from the block like he is waiting for something…
Makes me think that he will disappear from the quilt late on Christmas Eve, only to reappear right where he was on Christmas Morning! What a thought!
Father Christmas is only eight pieces! His eyes and nose are inked (Using s micron Pigma Marker Like used for Labels) and you can add any other embellishment you like… Maybe use a pom-pom or jingle bell to replace the furball on the tip of his hat… But he is cute just the way he is!
