Solana Beach Quilt Revisited
JT in my Friday class brought in an amazing array of quilts last week all based upon my Solana Beach pattern.
Not only had she made the entire quilt in solids (wow!) but in prints as well:
But then she blew up the block 5 times the original size to make a wonderfully adorable baby quilt…
And Then JT reduced that block by 50 percent to make a great quilt for a returning soldier:
Great Job, JT!
These quilts are all based on some masonry out at a Corona, CA shopping mall:
How FUN is that? And I think I missed photographing one of the quilts!
The Solana Beach quilt pattern is available to download FREE on Craftsy.

My Staycation Jelly Roll Quilt is Available on Craftsy.
A Staycation is when you vacation at home. Any time in my sewing room is a Staycation for me! So make this lovely quilt on your next Staycation! Using 2 1/2″ strips from a Bali Pop or a Jelly Roll or a swap or your own stash, this quilt goes together pretty easy with just a few tricks.
Do you see the circles or wreaths? Wouldn’t this be grand in Christmas prints? Or Autumn? Wow! I think I need to make another Staycation quilt!
And my Etsy store has even more patterns!
