My Falling Stars quilt has been published! The New Issue (August/September 2013) of QUILT magazine is out! Check out pages 66-69!
It is quite an honor for me. I am just tickled to once again have my work appear in the pages of QUILT! Many THANKS to Deb Finan and her ace staff for all their help and encouragement. Their hard work is truly appreciated. (Do you remember? My last quilt for QUILT, Early Spring, made the cover! Check it out.)
And Falling Stars is such an easy quilt to make. The stars are appliqued and the strip piecing has no matching seams. And those are just big squares flanking the stars. So Simple!
Think of the different colors you could use. The instructions call for Fat Quarters, but any large scraps will do. My quilt is monochromatic in violets but you could use a rainbow of colors in this quilt… You could actually use up some of your stash!!!

So go out and get your copy of QUILT soon. The subscription copies are just arriving so it will be hitting the newsstands of JoAnns, Walmarts, book, grocery and drug stores any day now! Watch for it! Ask for it! If you can’t find it, order your copy through their website.
