Nautical Tumble Sampler Quilt Block 6 – Doubloons

I am seeing a lot of these Nautical Tumble blocks in my classes now… And they are so inspirational! Different Fabrics and Colors… All Stunning!

This Doubloons block is simple and effective. As I’ve been saying, we are waiting to the end to discuss trimming the blocks to the tumbler shape (which is optional) so, for now, this block is 12 1/2″ raw. The Doubloons PDF is available below.

I see blocks 1-4 and 6-7. What happened to 5? Just curious to see if I really missed a block in the Nautical series or if it was misnumbered.

Love the patterns that you have and, as soon as I’m settled in new home, will begin making what I have collected so far.

Thanks for all the wonderful patterns, tutorials and tips that you give. You are truly gifted and talented.

      Hi Terri,
Thanks for commenting on my blog. And you were right!
Somehow I went from counting weeks to counting blocks!
Thanks to you, I have fixed it… I hope!
Keep on watching for more blocks.
      Thanks for catching my error!
