Camp Watch-A-Patcher Here I Come!
I am so looking forward to teaching at Camp Watch-A-Patcher this year! What’s that? You’ve never heard of Camp Watch-A-Patcher? It’s only the most fun you can have with your sewing machine!
Orange County (CA) Quilter’s Guild rents out a portion of Vanguard University (Across from the OC Fairgrounds) and holds Quilt classes all week long. This dates are July 7-11, 2013 and that’s coming up quick! Lots of great teachers are gonna be there… Here’s the classes I am teaching:
The Tall Ship Pilgrim is a single block quilt, all fused and has lots of tricks and tips to make it a quick yet classic project.
Sister’s Color Choice delves into color theory. If you’ve ever wanted to learn how to add more color to your quilts, this is the class for you!
Framed! is a wonderful Modern quilt. Recently featured on the cover of QUILT magazine, this simple pieced quilt is lots of fun and something you’ll nearly finish in class!
And here is the quilt I made for the Magazine… They called it Early Spring.
The Magic Nine Patch Next Generation quilt is actually two quilts in one class. The Magic (or Disappearing) 9-Patch is a very popular pattern, then we take it a step farther to make the Next Generation quilt.
Here is the Magic 9 Patch…
And the NextGen Quilt…
