Then the next week….

I will be speaking at Acacia Guild on August 2 on Mystery Quilts and Quilt Mysteries.

But I need your help…

Please dig out/borrow back/finish any of our past mysteries (we have done TEN mysteries through the years!) and bring them to share to the Buena Park Senior Center the evening of August 2. I haven’t made them all so the more you bring the more will be shown! Doors open at 6:45.

Thanks!

And don’t forget about QuiltDaze!!!!

August 18 and 19, 2012

Quilt Daze IX, “California Treasures,” is a Quilt Show presented by Yorba Linda Historical Society & Yorba Linda Women’s Club at the Yorba Linda Community Center, 4501 Casa Loma, Yorba Linda, CA. 10am to 4pm both days. Admission $7 quilts, opportunity baskets, refreshments. Our Class will have a whole room to display so be sure to drop by and say hello!

Meanwhile, if you need any of our Quilter’s Alphabet patterns (This Block Of The Week will continue through the year), check the archives. And browse around this site for lots of other free patterns. We are working on our 2012 series of Doll Quilts (Did you see The Hummingbird Quilt?) and lots more swap patterns. And there are even more Patterns on my Etsy site.

And coming soon will be our 2012 Fall Quilts which will be the glorious and historic Burgoyne Surrounded (Supply List now available) and the beautiful Iris Quilt. The Iris block is posted there and the setting will be given in the fall so start working on those Iris blocks!

And just posted for this summer: The 2012 Sunset and Vine Mystery Quilt. Clues began July 3. If you are just joining us, here is the Supply List… And Clue One. Then one clue is posted every Tuesday… Nine Clues Total!

And I have just started a new quilt pattern based on the “N” Block of the Quilters Alphabet Series… Here is the Supply List for the Nostalgic 9 In 9…

Thanks for stopping in…

dang dang dang, I wish you were here in Texas. I love your mystery quilts. Your last quilt was the first mystery that I actually did together with you, I mean as it was going. I’ve done other mysteries but waited until it was over to see if I liked it. Even though I was worried when I first started that one I was so happy with the final product. I even changed the border a tiny bit to finish off the stars. I haven’t started the new one yet but I carry the supply list with me so I can get motivated. I’m still a newbie so for you to pull me through a quilt you did good 🙂

YOu do great work and keep us quilters happy.
