“This shop is billed as the largest quilt shop in Georgia and I believe them. What a display of beautiful fabric of all kinds, even a good selection of Christmas fabrics. Plus anything and everything a quilter could want or need and classroom space and a longarm!
A Scarlet Thread is Georgia # 18 in the Quilters Travel Companion, however they have moved from that address. Address is now:
1601 McDonough Place, McDonough, GA. It is 25 miles south of Atlanta, GA.
The shop is featured in the Spring/Summer 2012 issue of Quilt Sampler magazine. Here is a shot from the magazine…

Hey Lyn, did you see my Letty’s Bag in the 3rd picture down. I knew The Scarlett Thread carries several of my patterns but I was thrilled to see their Letty’s Bag sample in the magazine. BTW, I’ve been to their shop and it is fabulous and huge.
