Lights! Camera! Action!
Are you ready for the second clue of the Sunset and Vine mystery? No peeking until you have finished the first clue!
Remember Alfred Hitchcock’s “The Birds”? I suppose one could say this Clue pays tribute to the birds in that movie. We are making “Flying Geese.”
Use the Light Supporting Player and your Stand-Out to make these geese. It’s a super easy method so you’ll be flying right through this clue!
Our 2012 Fall Quilts will be starting soon…The glorious and historic Burgoyne Surrounded (Supply List now available) and the beautiful Iris Quilt Block pattern is also up. Keep your eye on LynBrown.com for more great quilt patterns. As always, there is also a lot to see at our Etsy Shop. There must be something for everyone in that mix!
You may have noticed there is lots going on here at LynBrown.com. Our doll quilts series (We are due for another, don’t you think?) will continue through the year. There are lots of other great free quilt patterns here on the site… Like our swap/scrap quilt patterns and our Quilter’s Alphabet quilt block of the week which will both be continuing all summer long.
I am working toward putting some of our older mysteries as well. Leave a comment below and let me know if you want them posted as mysteries or as the whole pattern… I just can’t make up my mind!
Here is the CLUE TWO PDF…
Sunset and Vine Mystery Clue Two
I suggest you make one set of Geese all the way through just to be sure you get this unusual but easy method then the rest will be a snap!
The next Sunset and Vine mystery clue (Clue Three) will be posted next Tuesday, July 17.
And if you are just joining us, here is the Supply List… And Clue One. There will be Nine Clues with one given each Tuesday.
Thanks for dropping in!

I think i’d like them as mysteries. If i see the finished quilt it may be intimidating for me as a novice. But this baby step method is great.. And what a cool way to make flying geese!
Yes, would love to have previous Mystery Patterns.
