Bodacious Blue Bobbin
Quilters use a lot of B words… Batting, Borders, Binding, Blocks, Bernina… Here I choose to represent a Bodacious Blue Bobbin surrounded by Batik Beaded Buttons. The beads are used to represent the holes used to sew on the buttons. For some reason, I can’t figure out how to get those little dots to appear on the picture above… but they are on the PDF. Wait to add these “Button Holes” til after your quilt is quilted to make that quilting process easier.
This is so much fun, planning these blocks to show off what we do as quilters in 2012! I hope you are enjoying the blocks. I am fiddling with the presentation of the letters, trying to minimize the printer ink usage and maximize the ease of pattern transfer to Paper Backed Fusible Web. So I am reposting the A Block and the B Block Pattern here. Check back next week for the C Block.
I have also been asked about what the Artful Arcs of Applique block would look like if multiple blocks were made. So I put these little CGQs (Computer Generated Quilts!) together.
