Folded Coasters
Here is a fabulous and simple gift idea. A set of beautiful and useful coasters that are quite enjoyable to make.
These coasters are so quick and simple to make, you’ll find yourself making scads of them! Tie them up with a pretty ribbon and you’ve got a wonderful gift for a hostess or… Anyone!
Fold up four charm squares (or use a tea towel as in the picture), layer with backing and batting, stitch around and turn. It’s that simple! You have got to try it! This is the kind of coaster you can slip the base of a wine glass in. Make one for each of your guests and they will never lose their wine glass… or make rings on your tables! At the end of the evening they can take them home as a memento.
Use larger squares and you can make a matching trivet or hot pad. What a great set to give as a gift… Even if it is for yourself!
